AI GardenPrivacy Policy

AI Garden (“the app”) is made by DarkArt Studio (“we”, “us”). This policy says what the app collects, why, who else handles it, and how you delete it. Questions: darkart.studio@gmail.com.
In short: you don't make an account with a name or email. Your photos are used only to make your designs and are never used to train AI. We don't sell your data, show ads or track you across other apps. You can delete everything from the app at any time.
What the app collects

Who else handles it
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, App Check) stores your photos, designs and gardens and runs the app's server, in the United States.
- Google Gemini API receives your photo and request to make a design, plant list or build guide, and a garden's approximate location and place name for its daily tips. Under Google's terms for the paid API, Google does not use this content to improve its models.
- MET Norway (the Norwegian Meteorological Institute) receives a garden's coordinates, rounded to about 1 km, to return its weather forecast.
- RevenueCat and Apple / Google handle subscriptions.
We don't sell or share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long it's kept, and deleting it
Your photos, designs, plant lists and gardens are kept until you delete them. Delete a design or a garden in the app at any time. Settings › Delete account & data permanently deletes your photos, designs, plant lists, gardens, climate details and account. The device ID stays, so the free design can't be claimed again. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription: cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play settings. Usage and crash data are kept by Google for a limited time under Firebase's retention settings.
Your choices and rights
Location and notifications are only used if you allow them, and you can turn them off in your phone's settings. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to object to how it's used. Email darkart.studio@gmail.com and we'll answer within 30 days.
Children
The app isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has used it, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections, and each account's photos and designs can only be read by that account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
